We are super proud to welcome Wendy Kinal (she/her) to our coaching staff at Chroma. Wendy has a wealth of knowledge plus a knack for communicating and connecting with students. Originally beginning her training in Boston, Massachusetts Wendy was able to acquire both her blue and then purple belt in jiujitsu under Professor Ronaldo Campos. Eventually Wendy was able to earn her brown belt through 4 time Pan American Jiu Jitsu Champion Sophia McDermott.
Currently Wendy resides in the city of Boulder but makes the short commute to Lafayette to help teach at Chroma and offer her unique perspectives on the art form. Valuing safety, inclusivity and most importantly fun, means you are sure to experience a great class under Wendy’s guidance.
She brings her experience as a fitness and movement trainer, a creative arts instructor and performer, and as a coach in trauma-informed settings to the mats. Check out Wendy on Instagram.
